And our journey through it.
Peace in Strife
Good morning, Church. My reading this morning has taken me to Romans again which in turn lead me to a quote from Martin Luther. The revelation filled my heart with Peace and Joy. Let’s start with the Bible verse first. (Which the Lord has given to me before but in a different revelation.)
Romans 15:13
“Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, (Romans 12:12; 14:17) that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.”
It ALL comes back to God’s Spirit “in” us, Saints. Our trust and belief in God’s Love for us through His Spirit in us—NOW--not down the road in the future; although it is our eternal resting place with our God. Righteousness, peace and joy is in the Holy Spirit. Let that Truth be established in our hearts and minds when we listen to what Martin Luther says:
“Those who rejoice in God are satisfied with their peace in Him. They bravely endure tribulations and do not desire the peace which reason calls for: removal of the evil. They stand firm and await ‘internal’ strength through faith. (Our faith in God’s Love for us.) Neither do they think and worry what the end will be but always place that matter in the hands of God. They are not fretting to know when, how, or where their trouble will be ended. This is why God, in turn, grants them grace and prepares for an end for their evil-an end which shows benefits so great as to exceed all expectations and desires; “Behold, this is the peace of the cross, the peace of God, the peace of conscience, Christian peace. Reason cannot comprehend how we can have peace in the midst of strife. Nor can reason accomplish this. It is a work of God that is known only to the person who has experienced it.”
Let us experience it, Church. Can we truly have a revelation of that quote from Martin Luther and not realize how Great God’s Love is for us?
The Bible is True, it “is” ‘God’s Word, and God NEVER lies. God choose the Israelite Nation to carry out His Plan for the world. He gave them the commandments, rules, regulations and even the “temporary” (animal sacrifices) solution for the forgiveness of sin in our lives before His Son, Jesus Christ, actually came to us in the flesh to “BE” a living sacrifice for our sins; the only sinless man.
Yes, the Israel Nation was the Nation that made that sacrifice a TRUTH in God’s Plan but that in turn gave the rest of the world, the Gentiles, a chance to be a part of God’s Plan. Let’s read the 4 verses before the 13th verse of chapter 15:
Romans 15:9-12
“And that the Gentiles might glorify God for His mercy, as it is written: “For this reason I will confess to You among the Gentiles, and sing to Your name.”
Verse 10:
“And again he says: “Rejoice, O Gentiles, with His People!”
Verse 11:
“And again: “Praise the Lord, all you Gentiles! Laud Him, all your peoples!”
Verse 12:
“And again, Isaiah says: “There shall be a root of Jesse; and He who shall rise to reign over the Gentiles, in Him the Gentiles shall HOPE.”
Jesus was a Jew; born through the Jewish linage; God’s Chosen People. But His Living Sacrifice was for “ALL” peoples; a Pure Blood Sacrifice that took “ALL” sin and death away---NOW--- right now, Saints!
With all the chaos in these last days can our hope, faith, trust and belief in our Father God, our Abba Father, be so strong as to lift us above EVERYTHING ELSE. We can believe it Church! How? By:
