GOD IS

Church, sometimes with all the evil and negative that is trying to push in on us in this day and age we tend to misplace our thoughts and loyalties from Who is delivering us from all of that evil and negative bombarding us. Our physical mind and eyes overrule the spiritual TRUTH that is “in” us where God’s Spirit is abiding.

I was reading in I John 5:18 through 20 and concentrating on verses 20 when this realization came to my mind. In verses 18 and 19 it is talking about the whole world “lies under the sway of the wicked one”. Which we already know in our minds because we can “see” it, but the Children of God who have been born of God guards himself against this. Verse 20 tells us how we know this TRUTH and Who we know this from:

I John 5:20

“And we know that the Son of God has come and has given us an understanding, that we may know Him Who is TRUE; and we are in Him Who is TRUE, in His Son Jesus Christ. This is the TRUE God and eternal life.”

Now Saints, we are all familiar with John 1:1 which tells us the deity of Christ:

John 1:1

“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.”

The reference that is with “and the Word was God” is I John 5:20! Confirmation of Who Jesus Christ is and why He came to us in the flesh. To give us an understanding and a clear way to God our Father, and that we may know Him Who is TRUE.

Hebrews 2:14

“Since the children have flesh and blood, He too shared in their humanity so that by His death He might break the power of him who holds the power of death-that is, the devil.”

When Jesus was on the cross and giving up His Life’s Blood for our sins the Bible said the veil or curtain in the temple of God was rent or torn. The Bible Dictionary has the meaning for veil as: “The screen separating the Holy and Most Holy Places in the Tabernacle and Temple.” (Matthew 27:51; Mark 15:38-41; Luke 23: 45, 47-49)

Now, according to the Bible in Exodus 26:1-2, God is telling Moses how to make the veil or curtain that is the separation between the Holy and Most Holy Places in the Tabernacle and Temple. Everything had to be done EXACTLY as God said how it was to be made, even down to the curtain covering where His abode was here on earth. Each curtain or veil was 6’ wide and 42’ long. That is 420’ of curtain protecting sin from God’s Holy Place in the Temple/Tabernacle. Before Christ literally came and took “our” sins upon Himself we, God’s Children, had no way of communicating with God except through the Priests that were allowed to enter the Holy of Holies behind the curtain after a total cleansing of himself naturally and spiritually. Our only way to God was through another sinful human being. And for a “season” that was God’s Plan for mankind. Now, God also knew that wasn’t going to be enough for forever, because man’s selfishness and greed and self centeredness was going to overrule God’s Deity in relationship from us to Him. The Price for our sins had to be SINLESS BLOOD not animals blood. And EVERY man was born into sin because of Adam and Eve’s sin of disobedience from their Creator, except One man who wasn’t born of man but born of God Himself through His Spirit. A SINLESS MAN!

Jesus Christ left Heaven and took on human form to save all mankind from eternal damnation, a life time without God, because our spirits NEVER die they live FOREVER in either Heaven or Hell. And that is our choice---yes or no. God gave EVERYONE of us that “free” choice.

Jesus Christ’s Sinless, Atoning Blood gave us the ability to actually communicate with God ourselves without a sin-filled human to go through. We now have a resurrected Jesus Christ, as our mediator to God our Father. And this event happened just as Christ Himself gave up His Sinless Life’s Blood on the Cross as the veil/curtain in the Temple was torn in half. (same verses as earlier stated)

Nothing human or earthly could have torn that curtain in half from top to bottom in seconds as when Christ was giving up His Spirit on the Cross for us. That was God Himself saying, “O.K. humanity, My Only Son has paid the Price for that sin from Adam and Eve’s fall from Grace. You may now talk to Me through that Cleansing “Blood Price”. Nothing can separate us except ‘your’ decision and will to say “Yes” to Righteousness or “No” to Unrighteousness. Grace and Love can live in you forever. Make your decision now for eternity.” God actually tore down the wall/curtain that was separating us from Him at that time.

Now Church, go back and reread I John 5:20 and see how you can understand God’s Word because we now know: “He Who is TRUE!” I quote: “This is the TRUE God and eternal life!” We do this by:
