Revelation Knowledge
The revelation and illumination of God’s Word “in” us is what we, as Born Again Children of God, are striving for through out our lives; that precious, intimate connection with our Creator. God’s Word living and abiding “in” us telling us we are not our own, we belong to a loving, caring Father.
Church, the Holy Spirit is the Person behind this understanding/Truth “in” us. Jesus promised us this TRUTH when He was teaching His disciples about being with them always. Even when they/we don’t see Him in the natural; our Faith “sees” Him in the Spirit. Let’s go back for a moment, Saints.
We are ALL sinners; it happened with Adam and Eve in the Garden and it took the Blood (life) sacrifice of a TOTALLY SINLESS MAN, Jesus Christ, to break that bondage of so long ago. Since all of us were born into sin, God had to have His Son, Jesus Christ, not born of an earthly father but the Heavenly Father, to come into this world to pay the ‘Blood Price’ for “ALL” sin; it broke the initial sin bondage that gave Satan a hold on God’s Creation—man.
God choose the Nation/People of Israel as His emissaries for this world from the beginning. God gave the Jews His Commandments and Laws to lead and guide them until the “TIME” for Christ’s coming. God’s Plan has everything in Order and Truth. God knows every single thing that has happened and is going to happen to His Creation and the world. God knew even before Satan approached Adam and Eve in the Garden that SIN was going to rule and reign here for centuries, and we would have to have laws to distinguish the good from the bad; the TRUTH (God) from the lies.(Satan)
The Bible is God’s Word, and Jesus is that Word. (John 1:1)
John 1:1-5 (Truth was made Man)
“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. In Him was life, (I John 5:11) and the life was the light of men. (John 8:12; 9:5;12:46)
Church, Jesus “IS” the TRUE Light of the world.
John 8:12:
“Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, “I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.”
Revelation Knowledge is believing and trusting in God’s Word, Jesus Christ, by faith. Knowing that our Father gave Jesus His words.
John 12:49-50 (Jesus speaking)
“For I have not spoken on My own authority; but the Father who sent Me gave Me a command what I should say and what I should speak. And I know that His command is everlasting life. Therefore, whatever I speak, just as the Father has told Me, so I speak.”
Revelation is the illumination of God’s Word in us.
‘Illumination is that divine process whereby God causes the written revelation to be understood by the human heart. And the Person behind this illumination is the Holy Spirit.’
Christ promised us that He would send the Holy Spirit to us after His crucifixion to help us with the illumination process for both unsaved people (John 16: 8-11) and the Christians (John 14:26;16:13,14)
‘There is a marvelous message and revelation knowledge in God’s Word. Paul tells us that the Holy Spirit WILL show these TRUTHS to us as “WE” read the Scriptures (I Corinthians 2:10; 2 Corinthians 4:6) with an open heart to God’s TRUTH in His Word.’
Open Heart, open Communication, open Love, open Hope, open Trust, I could go on and on but the key word here is “OPEN”. Being “open” to the Father’s Love for us; a necessary and vital process for revelation knowledge.
Again we come to the ending of our paper and to the how and why’s of our faith. How can we do this? By:
Trusting and Believing in God’s Love for us.
