Trust in the Lord-Stand up to Life

     Greetings Church. Today as I was reading in the lessons from Pastor Hagee’s New King James Prophecy Study Bible, I came across a very interesting lesson from him. It made an impact on me so I would like to share it with you this morning.

     “David stood up to the problems of his life by placing “ALL” his trust in the Lord. The Bible says, ‘Trust in the Lord with “all” your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in “ALL” your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.’ (Proverbs 3:5-6) Stand up to life by placing trust in Jesus. This includes accepting responsibility “for” your life. Choices have consequences. You are an addict by choice. You are an alcoholic by choice. (You are a smoker by choice. You are a chocoholic by choice. There are many different kinds of addicts, but it all comes down to “our” choices, Church.) Quit playing the blame game. You are today what you decided to be yesterday. The world is full of people running from life.

     Stand up to life by realizing “WHO” you are and “WHOSE” you are. YOU ARE A CHILD OF THE MOST HIGH GOD. ‘But as many as received Him, to them He gave the RIGHT to become ‘Children of God,’ to those who believe in His Name’ (John 1:12)

     You are created in the image of God, and God does not quit. In the Garden of Gethsemane, knowing the agony before Him, Jesus said, “not what I will, but what You will”. (Mark 14: 36) He went to the Cross, suffered shame, died with thieves, and was buried in a borrowed grave. BUT HE DID NOT QUIT! He arose from the grave and now sits at the right hand of God. (Hebrews 12-2) Don’t quite---you’ll soon be with Him, too! Glory!”

     Saints, I’ve quoted all of that from Pastor Hagee”s ‘Diamonds for Daily Living’ because as I was praying and talking to the Lord this morning He lead me to this page in the Bible.

     Things are happening in this world and in each of our lives that has to be addressed; but only through God’s Love and guidance from the Holy Spirit.

     I believe “TRUE” self examination has to come before we will be ready for these end days before the ‘Rapture of the Church’. Right now the “Church”--each of us-- is fractured trying to go our own separate ways, trying to do as best we can by ourselves. God did not give us His Son’s Blood sacrifice to be fractured; it was done to bring us all together in Unity in Christ in God’s Love. Period! The only TRUTH!

     So what are we to do with these words from God?

     Stand up to life by realizing “WHO” we are and “WHOSE” we are---God’s Children!

     Don’t give up—Don’t quit-- we are only here on earth for “a season”. Then in God’s Time He will bring us Home to Himself; be it physical death or the Rapture—if we are a Child of God we will go to be with our “Abba Father” through Jesus and the Holy Spirit.

     That is an “UNBREAKABLE TRUTH” from God Himself!

Take heart Saints, God is not through with us yet! But “WE” have to do our part first. Self examination in Christ and acknowledging His will for our lives now can bring us repentance and power and authority through His Love for all His People and Children.
