THE LAWS

What a wonderful day in the Lord this is! Every new day “in” Christ with His understanding is a glorious day! When things are happening in the world that points to Jesus coming back it brings joy to my heart, even when it seems to point to God’s wrath in Revelations in the Bible, and the end of the world as we know it. But as we know, that is only the REAL BEGINNING!

O.K. Saints, let me explain before you think I’ve gone off the deep end in my writing.

For a while now some of the laws of the land (man’s laws) have been getting scary and disturbing to me, as a Child of God, and our Church Fellowship, laws that have not been favorable to the Christian nation as a whole. So I started to search through the Bible to see what God would have me to “see” with my spiritual eyes. (Remember Church, we are to put our spirit-man before our fleshly-man in our lives, because it is too close to the ‘end of days’ to be wishy-washy for God.)

I first went to the concordance to see where that would lead me. There are almost two pages in the Strong’s Concordance for the word “law”. It was daunting to say the least! So I then went to the Bible Dictionary (W.B.E.D.) and looked under the word “law”. It had almost a whole column under the word, but it also had a paragraph on “the Law”, and that was the one I was looking for.

The word “law” had this meaning: “the body of rules recognized by a state or a community as binding on its members. (man’s law)

Alright Church, now let’s get down to business. The Bible does say we are “to be subject to the laws of the land.” (Romans 13: 1-2) If we didn’t have laws there would be chaos everywhere. People would be only living for themselves and not caring about anyone else. What “I” want “I” get no matter what, which is why God destroyed the world by water so many years ago. Only Noah and his family (8 people plus the animals) were left on earth at that time. (Genesis chapter 7) God made the earth and everything on it, therefore His Laws are the “highest order”. If man’s rules or laws go against God’s Laws we are to follow what our Creator says. (Acts 4:18-20) And since Revelations is almost upon us---we will be “washed” by fire this time. (II Peter 3: 7 and 10) It seems man-kind has not learned from past lessons. Loving, respecting and keeping God’s Laws are basically a thing of the past for a lot of people (ungodly men-verse 7). But we don’t have to be one of them.

I believe God’s People have become complacent and lukewarm for God and His Laws. What did God say about lukewarm people? (Revelations 3:16) Am I one of them are you one of them?

Church, I’m going to close this writing for now because I have so much more to say on the subject of laws, it will probably take several parts to get all the information to you that needs to be brought up through scriptures.
