CREATOR-DESTROYER

I was reading in the Book of John this morning and came across something very interesting that I wanted to share.

Jesus had just healed the blind man (John 9:1-7) and the blind man was talking to the Pharisees about what had occurred to make a blind man, from birth, receive his sight.

John 9:10-11

“Therefore they said to him, “How were your eyes opened?” He answered and said, “A Man called Jesus made clay and anointed my eyes and said to me, ‘Go to the pool of Siloam and wash.’  So I went and washed, and I received sight.”

In verse 16 division of the people started when this was said

:

John 9:16

Therefore some of the Pharisees said, “This Man is not from God, because He does not keep the Sabbath.” (No work was supposed to be done on the Sabbath.) Others said, “How can a man who is a sinner do such signs?”

Now in verse 10 when Jesus Himself was talking about being the Good Shepherd and the Door for His Sheep, more division among the Jews was there.

Let’s start reading in verse 14 of Chapter 10: (Jesus speaking)

I am the good shepherd; and I know My sheep, and am known by My own.  As the Father knows Me, even so I know the Father, and I lay down My life for the sheep.  And other sheep I have which are not of this fold (Born Again Gentiles) them also I must bring, and they will hear My Voice; and there will be one flock (Jews and Gentiles become one-Ephesians 2:14-16) and One Shepherd (God).  Therefore My Father loves Me because I lay down My life that I may take it again.  No one takes it from Me, but I lay it down of Myself.  I have power to lay it down and I have power to take it again.  This command I have received from My Father.”

Jesus, the Sinless God-Man, is telling the world He is the Son of God and that He was sent to unite “ALL” of God’s People for our Forever Future together with Him.  He is THE CREATOR, the ONLY Creator.

Now, in verses 19-21 it goes back to the healed man when they say:

“Therefore there was a division again among the Jews because of these sayings. And many of them said, “He has a demon and is mad (insane).  Why do you listen to Him?”  Others said, “These are not the words of one who has a demon.  Can a demon open the eyes of the blind?”  The reference for ‘Can a demon open the eyes of the blind?’ is in Exodus 4:11 (God speaking to Moses about his slow speech) and in John 9:32-33.

Exodus 4:11

“So the Lord said to him, “Who has made man’s mouth? Or who makes the mute, the deaf, the seeing, or the blind?  Have not I the Lord?” (GOD IS OUR CREATOR.)

John 9:32-33

“Since the world began it has been unheard of that anyone opened the eyes of one who was born blind.  If this Man were not from God, He could do nothing.”  Jesus created new eyes in a man born blind.

Now Church, on the other hand we have the destroyer, Satan, working to deceive everyone into “thinking” he can do as God does.  But all he does is make replicas, mirror-images, and imitations of life.  He CANNOT create life.  Jesus even said of him:

:

John 10:10

“The thief (Satan) does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy.  I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.”

Now hear this Church, in these last days of life for this earth, ALL creation is going to be shaken and shaken hard.  Deception between good and evil will have a blurred line.  And the ONLY way to know the difference will be to have the discernment of God, which is the Love of the TRUTH in us, through God’s Spirit.

How do we do this?  We do this by giving our lives and hearts over to God for His safe keeping.  That doesn’t mean we won’t have trials, tribulations and adverse circumstances come into our lives, BUT it does mean, God Loves us enough to walk us through “ALL” things that may come to us.  And being a Child of God and knowing His Word and listening to His Voice through the Holy Spirit “IN” us, we will be able to have the Love of the TRUTH—God’s discernment.  We will know the difference between the Creator and the Destroyer.

Saints, we NEED to use the God given Power and Authority we have through our Savior Jesus Christ to make it through these last days.  Remember the prophecy from God for us?

“Know this: When the world is in chaos My People will be peaceful and calm; and the Spirit will supply “EVERYTHING” we need to accomplish our calling through Christ.”

All we have to do is

:

                                                            TRUST AND BELIEVE GOD
