OUR FUTURE

In the happenings of today’s world it isn’t easy to overlook or look beyond our present troubles while we are here on the earth.  I’m continually writing about “our Forever Future” and “looking” or “seeing” beyond the physical/natural world to our Future with Christ and Our Father God.  But Church, that “is” where our “HOPE” lies.

The scripture on my calendar today was Isaiah 11:7: “The cow and the bear shall graze; their young ones shall lie down together; and the lion shall eat straw like the ox.”

I thought, wow! That certainly wasn’t in those days or in today’s world.  The bear is a predator of the cow and the natural instincts of a bear is to kill and eat cows or anything else they can overcome.  So what was Isaiah talking about here?  As always Saints, we can’t read only one statement or paragraph and get its full meaning; the meaning God wants us to “see” in His Word.

Pastor Hagee put a title above the start of chapter 11 in his Prophecy Study Bible for Isaiah.  The title is: “Restoration of the Messiah’s Kingdom.” Now Church, I believe Isaiah Chapter 11 is talking about our future after Revelations in the New Heaven and Earth.  Isaiah was trying to encourage and uplift God’s People to look past the here and now and “see” their future with the Messiah, Jesus Christ (the Word) and to rekindle their Hope just as we are trying to do today.  Saints, that “is” our Forever Future with God, and as times get more troubled we are to have the peace and calmness in our hearts through our trust and hope in our Savior Jesus Christ to stand fast for Him and ourselves.  We need that intimate and open communication with our God through His Spirit to our spirit.  One on one with God. That is the way God deals with His People.  Knowing WHO we are “in” Christ and walking in that Power and Authority through His Spirit will let us “see” through EVERYTHING---NOW!

My sister had a prophecy from God and I believe it was for ALL of God’s Children today:  “Know this: when the world is in chaos My People will be peaceful and calm; and the Spirit “will” supply EVERYTHING we need to accomplish our calling through Christ.”

To get to this point we are going to have to go through trials, tribulations and circumstances that will test us in a mighty way.  But as long as we KNOW “WHO” we belong to and Trust and Believe “IN”---we WILL make it through ALL here on earth “and” we will be with the Lord in the end of God’s Plan.

The “Key” to accomplishing this HOPE is: “in what Jesus says.”  Our past, present and futures are all wrapped up in the WORD—Who is Jesus Christ (John 1:1)

One example of Jesus’ Word working is Luke 5:5 when Jesus was talking to Simon while he was fishing.  Catching nothing “all” night from the sea, Jesus told him to lower his nets again to catch fish.  Simon’s answer:  “Master, we have toiled all night and caught nothing, nevertheless at YOUR WORD I will let down the net.” resulting in a catch so big that it broke the net.  We all need to look past the physical eyes-ears and mind and look with our Spiritual eyes-ears and mind and just Trust and Believe God.

Another example is in Luke 4:18-19, 21.  Jesus was in Nazareth and as His custom was, “He went into the synagogue on the Sabbath day, and stood up to read.” Jesus read from the “book of the Prophet Isaiah” which said:

Isaiah 61:1-2 (EXP-in part)

“The Lord God has put his Spirit in me, because the Lord has appointed me to tell the good news to the poor.  He has sent me to comfort those whose hearts are broken, to tell the captives they are free, and to tell the prisoners they are released.  He has sent me to announce the time when the Lord will show his kindness (year of favor, year of Jubilee; Lev. 25:10; Luke 4:18-10) and the time when our God will punish evil people (day of God’s vengeance).  He has sent me to comfort all those who are sad.”

Jesus then closed the Book and gave it back to the attendant and sat down.  Everyone in the synagogue was focused on Him as He said, “Today this scripture is fulfilled in your hearing.”  God made our past and present and future meld together here in these verses. Jesus’ Words are Always True and He was telling the Jews exactly Who He was.

Even in Exodus chapter 34 verse 10, God Himself told Moses about their/our future:

Exodus 34:10 (EXP)

“Then he said, “I am making this agreement (covenant; treaty) with you.  I will do miracles (wonders) in front of all your people---things that have never before been done for any other nation on earth---and the people with you will see my work.  I, the Lord, will do wonderful (awesome) things for you.”  As grafted in Children of God we have that promise also, Church.

Now Saints, as we know the end times are close upon us by the messages throughout the Bible, the days of the Gentiles are being completed now in our generation.  Since the time of Christ events pointing to His coming back have increased a hundred-fold through today.   God said to watch and look for the signs of the “Time” so we can be prepared.  Church, we “can” know the season of Jesus’ coming back; not the day because that is only known by Our Father God Who has known it from the Beginning, but “ALL” of Jesus’ Words WILL come to pass because He and our Father and Spirit are ONE!!

Just remember Saints, DO NOT FEAR (My People will be peaceful and calm through the Holy Spirit) because God is our source of redemption and Life and Light and as long as we Stand Fast in Christ we WILL “see” our Forever Future with our God.  That is the ultimate TRUTH for ALL of God’s Children, Jews and Born Again Gentiles.  GOD’S TRUTH.

          Remember Church, our part is:
